The article focuses on the Seneca dolls, collected by Anthropologist Lewis Henry Morgan. The article discusses the deals of antique dolls acquired around 1850 which is now placed in collections of Rochester Museum & Science Center, Rochester, New York State. Also included are details of the doll like the calico cloth with an overall print pattern, silk ribbon edging and the body is made of the corn husk, representing the unique style of Iroquois women in the nineteenth century.
