- Abstract
The article discusses the amendments made in the constitutions of the Philippines. It provides a summary on the attempts to change the Philippine Constitution in 1973 and 2006. It talks about the Supreme Court case Javellana v. Executive Secretary, and the successful effort of the late President Ferdinand Marcos to replace the 1935 Constitution. It evaluates the involvement of the Supreme Court in constitutional changes.
