- Abstract
The article discusses postanesthetic complications using data collated from several equine hospitals. Postanesthetic morbidity has been noted in horses after undergoing non-abdominal procedures. Complications include muscoskeletal disorders specifically postanesthetic myopathy or fractures. The data gathered from four different equine centers will be used to identify risk factors for anesthetic morbidities as well as to analyze its prevalence.
