- Abstract
The article provides information about the clinical study on the diagnosis and long-term therapy of right-sided cardiac disease in birds. The study presented a yellow crown amazon, which exhibits a history of weakness, incoordination and dyspnoea. According to the authors, the case evidences the value of echocardiography in avian medicine as a useful diagnostic technique, as well as the theories and limitation of cardiac therapy in birds.
