- Abstract
The article presents a study which examines the role of surgical resection in controlling chest wall disease in women with stage IV breast cancer. Authors of the study reviewed chest wall status, overall survival (OS) and time to first progression (TTFP) among the group. Results show an association between chest wall control and improved OS regardless of whether surgical resection of the tumor was performed.
