Abstract
The article presents information on pet food maker La Société Royal Canin's announcement regarding the source of protein for their Sensitivity Control Diet. Animal nutritionists state that a decreasing global stocks of capelin fish have inspired them to use blue whiting instead of capelin for their pet foods. According to veterinary director of Royal Canin Gill Furniss, since they take their environmental responsibility seriously, they will give capelin stocks time to recover.
