- Abstract
The article presents a case study of 79-year-old man with a lung mass underwent computed tomography (CT)-guided biopsy. Topics discussed include ischemic penumbra and blood-brain barrier disruption in cerebral air embolism; hyperoxygenation therapy to remove air and mitigate ischemia; and oxidative stress due to hyperoxic reperfusion via a disrupted blood–brain barrier.
