Title
Amnesty International, 2006 Report on Pakistan.
Abstract
The article reports on continued honor killings and mutilation of girls and women as well as men in Pakistan. It states that successful prosecutions for these honor killings were infrequent. It also mentions the failure of legal changes in late 2004 to curb the authority of the victim's heirs to forgive the perpetrators which allow them to escape conviction.
