- Title
Ups and downs for US greenhouse gases.
- Authors
Eisberg, Neil
- Abstract
The article presents the author's insights on the decrease in U.S. greenhouse gas emission (GHG). According to him, the recession has significant effect on the GHG emission in the country because of industrial output reduction along with the reduced energy demand. Moreover, he mentions that the National Petrochemical & Refiners Association (NPRA) opposes the American Power Act proposed by senators John Kerry and Joe Leiberman because it will weaken the economy and will harm energy security.
