- Abstract
The author argues that history cannot be completely abolished wherever humans persist, persevere and perdure. Topics include the historical importance of making distinction between destruction of historical sites and the loss of human life as in the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the need to see history as a matter of urgent need or a historical emergency, Karl Marx's teleological view of history in his book "The German Ideology" and Italian philosopher Augusto Del Noce's direction of history.
