Abstract
The author reflects on the connection between the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge (BANWR) and the Boyce Thompson Southwestern Arboretum in Arizona. She said that BANWR and the Arboretum are associated many years back when the Desert Legume Program (DELEP) of the Arboretum and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service started a project that aims to plant Acacia angustissima seedlings on the BANWR. However, she adds that the project did not continue.
