- Abstract
The authors of the article respond to a comment made by Dr. Žarko Kulić regarding their research on the antiviral activity of Pelargonium sidoides extracts. They clarify that their aim was to identify antiviral bioactive compounds from the extracts, not to characterize the plant material used. They obtained the extracts from a reputable company in South Africa and performed extraction methods twice to ensure reproducibility. They identified the dominant compound in the extract as Neoilludin B and are currently conducting further studies to validate their findings. They acknowledge an error in the use of an incorrect image in the original manuscript and express their commitment to addressing all comments and concerns.
