- Abstract
The article uses indicator geostatistics in estimating the probability of toxic substances concentration in soil exceed tolerable maxima and any unsampled place in Jura, Switzerland. The method has been developed and used in estimating and mapping risk of cadmium, copper and lead contamination in topsoil of the region and combines direct measurements of metal concentrations and calibrating geological map. Results show that the risk of toxicity is less on Argovian rocks.
