The article discusses the need of changes in laws for courts regarding distracting and emotionally charged issues surrounding transgender individuals. Topics discussed include multiple judicial officers' distraction, imagination, and misguided reliance on legal fictions regarding transgenders, legal treatment of transgender people, and discrimination faced by transgenders in hiring.
