The author describes the experiences of two holocaust survivors, namely, her mother's cousin Pesach and his wife Mina, who lived in the Polish town of Rózan based on the emails from their son, Avraham Manor. Topics covered include Pesach and Mina's escape from Poland, how Pesach joined the Jewish clandestine Bricha organization and why Avraham's parents refused to accept Russian citizenship.
