- Title
Memory Loss in Elderly May be Linked to Concentration Loss.
- Abstract
The article discusses the U.S. study which demonstrates the connection of memory loss in older people to concentration loss. The study suggests that failing concentration may be the factor why some elderly people are inclined to increased forgetfulness with age. The research team headed by John Horn of the University of Denver revealed that a person's capacity or willingness to concentrate in doing even simple tasks declines with age and may be partly the cause for short-term memory loss.
