- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 40-hour female infant who was admitted to be unresponsive, apneic and asystolic. Topics discussed include screening was done through physical examination, where it showed that she has signs of severe neonatal encephalopathy, and the baby was treated through phenoarbital for clinical seizures and dobutamine infusion for hypotension.
