- Abstract
The article investigates the cohabitation of the extinct species in communities of the Pleistocene epochs. It refers the communities as steppe tundras, mammoth steppes, or disharmonic hyperborean faunas which existed in a cold and dry climate, which limited the distribution of tree species and animals associated with them. It analyzes the cohabitation of steppe and tundra mammals in various perspective and factor excluding the possible artifacts.
