Continence promotion.
Abstract
The article discusses the components of continence promotion services. It is noted that the aim of such services is to work towards ensuring healthy bladders and bowels. However, as the article asserts, for some children full continence is not achievable. It also explains the practice that no child should be issued with continence products without having a full assessment and trial of potty/toilet training. In addition, this article states the outcomes of continence promotion.
