- Abstract
T. V. Reddy's Quest for Peace, is the latest poetry work published recently in the end of 2013. It is unlike his other poetry works, with all collection of poems because this work is a continuous poem running into 1665 lines at a stretch. Moreover, he has called it a minor social epic, and this is all the more important in understanding and elevating the work. On account of this, it stands distinctly apart from other works and remains unique in the entire domain of Indo-English Poetry, both past and present included. Primarily, it is a social satire and at the same time there are lyrical passages of outstanding quality and it is in this aspect, they did it distinguish itself from other poetry books, that have appeared so for. The subject of this long narrative poem is also not different from his earlier collections, in which he vividly exposed the rampant corruption and degeneration of values in the society.
