- Authors

- Abstract
The article discusses several issues related to preventive care for older adults in the U.S. It is noted that the prediction that about 20 percent of the U.S. population in 2030 will consist of persons aged 65 and older calls for designing such care to the specific age group. Among the factors involved in determining the type of preventive care needed by a person is life expectancy. Recommended preventive care for adults 65 years and older include vaccinations, medical screening, and preventive actions.
