The article focuses on the role of osteoclasts in bone resorption and the use of denosumab, a monoclonal antibody targeting the RANKL pathway, in treating osteolytic disorders like giant cell tumors of bone (GCTB) and central giant cell granuloma (CGCG). Topics include the effectiveness of denosumab in pediatric patients with various bone disorders and the management of rebound hypercalcemia following denosumab discontinuation in children.
