- Abstract
The article discusses the recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics for minimum daily intake of vitamin D for infants and children in the U.S. Topics discussed include increased risk of vitamin D deficiency in breastfed infants, specific reference of the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey for analysis of dietary recall information of infants and persistent incidence of rickets due to vitamin D deficiency.
