- Abstract
The article calls on the United States bar association and the legal profession in general to reform the nature of the professional role and to reset lawyers' expectations about clients. The article describes the role of law and the legal profession in the country. It also discusses the rise of minority groups in the U.S. and how cultural and social norms are likely to impede the assimilation that occurred with previous immigrant groups.
