- Abstract
Asymmetric incremental forming process (ASPIF) is a solution with great potential in manufacturing single sheet metal parts. The incremental forming process requires an accurate multi-axes control of technological movements, together with the control of process parameters such as the feed of the punch. This paper presents some aspects regarding the use industry implementation of incremental forming process, performs a review of the main advantages of this process. The paper also present some experimental parts and points out issues that occur in parts processing and propose solutions for their elimination.
