- Abstract
The authors address the challenges and opportunities for research on the efficacy of routine screening for intimate partner violence (IPV) and abuse of older and vulnerable adults. Topics include the lack of advancement in the updated U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommendation statement on IPV screening of women of reproductive age and some safety concerns that complicate randomized clinical trials raised by characteristics of IPV and abuse of older and vulnerable patients.
