- Abstract
A literary criticism is presented of the 1994 novel "Hogg," by African American author Samuel R. Delany. An overview of the depiction of the sexual perversion as a transgression in the 1960s American culture, including in regard to transgressing social boundaries and power structures of U.S. society, is provided.
