- Abstract
The article presents a study which examines the family foodways in Great Britain. The study uses data carried out from a series of asynchronous on-line interviews with 75 mostly middle class men and women, focusing on food over the life course. The study concludes that feeding the family is a key aspect of maternal identity with intensive mothering practices correlated with elite cultural capital.
