- Abstract
The article discusses the developments in climate ethics (CE), an emerging field in applied ethics. It provides an overview on the different domains of CE. It outlines themain building blocks of a theory that a comprehensive CE will be established if well-substantiated positions in each domain can be conjoined coherently. It tackles each of the triangular structre of how to reduce the negative impacts of climate change, mitigation, adaptation and climate engineering. It also explores the ethical profile of climate change, with details on climate economics.
