- Abstract
The article discusses policies and strategies to take care of security risks associated with biological research. It suggests that scientific community, policy makers and federal and state regulators need to be involved for creating effective policies. Perceptions of security and scientific community are also discussed. The author also suggests that policies could be developed to enhance scientific inquiry and reduce national security concerns with the efforts of security and academic community.
