- Authors
Linkner, Adam
- Abstract
The article discusses a court case involving the presence of a large Latin cross atop Sunrise Rock public land in Southern California. The plaintiff has challenged the Constitutionality of the transfer of the land and claimed that the cross' display violated the Establishment cause. The controversy started when the National Park Service has denied a request to develop a Buddhist shrine near the cross. The Supreme Court has held that the District Court fails to employ properly the clause.
