The article discusses the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court on changing the requirements on biotechnology patents. It mentions that the Court's decision on the case "Association for Molecular Pathology v. Myriad Genetics, Inc." and directed that isolated DNA sequences is not a patentable subject matter. It also mentions that the U.S. Congress may change the law to allow for patent harmonization.
