- Title
David Haussler.
- Abstract
An interview with David Haussler of the University of California in Santa Cruz is presented. When asked how the creation of annotated data repositories affected biology, he mentions how molecular biology has been an information-limited field historically. Haussler believes that all the data must be unified in a single and easily accessible format where people can just make queries. He also discusses the need to stimulate community feedback and community correction to solve the erroneous annotation in biological databases.
