- Abstract
The article presents an author's perspective in respond to a study relating to the prevention in child health psychology. According to the author, prevention science is a cornerstone of the field of public health. In addition, it seeks to reduce and avoid the development of illness and lifestyle-related health risks. He argues that the primary prevention emphasizes prevention activities taking place prior to the onset of illness.
