- Abstract
The article focuses on a study which shows the risk associated of hypoglycemia after the roux-en- y gastric bypass (RYGB) in the patients of obesity in the U.S. It mentions that the analysis of the data of obese patients of the U.S. in the Bariatric Outcomes Longitudinal Database (BOLD) who had undergone the laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding (LAGB) and sleeve gastrectomy (SG). Also mentioned is the study have not found any association between hypoglycemia and age and gender.
