- Abstract
The article presents information on the powers of the U.S. Congress based on declaration of war wherein U.S. President seeks for the declaration which will be granted or denied by the Congress. A focus is on the concept of undeclared war wherein the President can act directly with seeking for any approval for the Congress. The early concepts related to the war-making powers with reference to the Barbary Wars are also discussed.
