The article focuses on the availability of books in other than print formats for people with disabilities. It discusses the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and the Marrakesh Treaty to Facilitate Access to Published Works for Persons who are Blind, Visually Impaired, or Otherwise Print Disabled (VIP treaty). Topics include copyright laws, digitization technologies, and the suggested creation of a World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
