- Abstract
The article discusses the process and outcomes of the work of the National Council related to family violence in Australia. It outlines the development of a national plan for the country to reduce violence against women and their children. Also highlighted is the some key law and justice areas identified in the Council's plan as requiring national leadership and increased consistency within and across state and territory borders.
