- Abstract
In this study, the parameters of a non-minimum phase second-order system with dead-time, which is accepted as gray box, are found out using two channel relay auto-tuning test and Cuckoo Search, Particle Swarm Optimization, FireFly Algorithms. For this purpose, gray box was implemented as a two channel auto-tuning test system to obtain signals for system inputs and outputs. Then, the error value between the input and output signals was minimized according to the determined objective function and system parameters are determined using Cuckoo Search, Particle Swarm Optimization and FireFly Algorithms. In this work, the integral of the absolute value of the error(Integral Absolute Error) criterion was chosen as the objective function. The obtained results are analyzed and compared with the Genetic Algorithm based studies, which are cited in the literature. It is found that the obtained results using Cuckoo Search, Particle Swarm Optimization and FireFly Algorithms gave closer results to the real system than the results obtained with the Genetic Algorithm.
