- Abstract
The article presents a case study about the experiences of four secondary school teachers in English language teaching in Hong Kong, China. Constraints on teacher autonomy experienced by the high school teachers are examined. The study concludes that greater sensitivity to affordances in the working condition of teachers significantly affects teacher autonomy.
