- Abstract
The article critiques the so-called "Lucy Poems" by English poet William Wordsworth, commenting on the character of Lucy. It explores the possible identity of Lucy, who is presented as dead in Wordsworth's writings, commenting on his relationship with Ann Tyson, a resident of Seathwaite, England in the Duddon Valley. The association of these poems with Wordsworth's sister, Dorothy Wordsworth, is considered.
