- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 56-year old man who was diagnosed with thalamic and frontal masses using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). It mentions that intraoperative pathology examination revealed pleomorphic cells with occasional processes was revealed after the intraoperative pathology examination to the patient. The diagnosis of granular cell astrocytoma (GCA) was reported for the emphasis of the importance of the consideration of the diagnosis of thalamic and frontal masses.
