- Abstract
The article proposes the multilateralization of judicial deference for reforming global financial law. It discusses manifestations of deference in jurisdictions, its design and shortcomings including unilateral perspective, deviating methods relating to comparability assessment, political influences, unequal access, market fragmentation and excessive costs. Factors to deference include sovereignty, open markets, competition policy, investor protection, financial stability and political economy.
