- Abstract
The article focuses on the efforts of the U.S. Nature Conservancy to protect intact habitat within the Santa Clara River watershed in Ventura County, California and enhance riparian biodiversity through restoration projects. It cites the concept of protecting large landscapes to maintain biodiversity towards conservation practice. The need to change the law to allow for the creation of substandard lots in the county is also tackled.
