- Abstract
The article discusses the results of a study that determined the impact of non-shaded coffee and pasture agriculture on both the predatory and omnivorous leaf-litter ants of Atlantic Forest in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Compared with pasture, coffee was more disruptive in the leaf-litter ant community. Also coffee negatively affects the number of predatory and omnivorous ants as well as disturbed the diversity of predatory ants.
