The article offers the author's view on writing as healing courses at U.S. colleges and universities. She mentions the James Madison University's (JMU) School of Writing, Rhetoric & Technical Communication (WRTC) wherein students create habits and skills for becoming scientists and writers for lives of global citenzenship which is the mission statement of the school. An overview of its undergraduate curricula and program is also presented.
