Abstract
The article discusses a study by University of Florida professor Barbara Purdy and Florida Museum curator Bruce MacFadden which shows that humans, along with extinct mammals, lived in the Western Hemisphere during the ice age. The information was gathered from the identification of human skeletons which were discovered at Vero Beach, Florida between 1913 and 1916.
