Abstract
The article reports on research conducted by doctoral student Steven Brady of Yale University's School of Forestry and Environmental Studies regarding the adaptive behavior of spotted salamanders living in toxic roadside ponds. According to the article the study, which was published in the journal "Scientific Reports," compares the evolutionary nature of spotted salamanders that live in roadside ponds, which are contaminated, with those living in woodland ponds.
