- Abstract
The article offers information about actions taken to catch hold of first unscrupulous athlete agent of California and increasing penalties to do that. It discusses 2005 Heisman Trophy winner Bush's unauthorized communications with athlete agents which violated National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) rules. It presents further information on acts regulating unfair and deceptive practices regarding relationships between athlete agents and a student athlete such as the Miller-Ayala Athlete Agents Act, the Sports Agent Responsibility and Trust Act (SPARTA), and the Uniform Athlete Agents Act (UAAA).
