The article discusses the supernova explosion of a massive Wolf–Rayet star, in which emission lines in a spectrum have been detected. Topics discussed include presence of silicon line in the spectra, the high core temperature of stars and speed and density of stellar winds. Other topics include spectral signature providing information on the composition of star and core collapse supernova.
